Design your form in Excel

Whether you want to request a single customer creation or extend tens of materials to hundreds of plants or want to post 5000 line journal entry document, you design your form directly in Excel. No need to wait for technical resources to create the form you want. If you have a basic Excel understanding you can develop your own form template. You can use your existing Excel file layout and start a workflow using it. No need to re-invent the wheel. The Excel file is your form.

Excel forms can be as simple or as complex as you want; add drop downs, grouping, complex calculations and formulas, v-lookups or lock out sections of excel file as workflow progresses.

Implement localization so a single form can speak multiple languages and automatically show form in local language of user.

Manage your Workflow from Excel

Initiate a workflow from Excel by simply clicking on the Start Workflow icon in Innowera's Excel Add-in and selecting the desired workflow.

Use the available workflow library (or create your own with built in intuitive workflow designer). You can even start workflow on an existing excel file that you have on your local or network drive.

How it works

  1. User selects an existing template or an Excel file, and clicks "Start Workflow" from Excel using Process Runner Excel add-in

  2. Innowera Easy Workflow system uploads the Excel file to the Easy Workflow database and creates a work item by starting the desired workflow. An email notification is also sent to the recipient(s) notifying them that a new workflow item is waiting in his/her built-in Inbox in Excel.

  3. As each step is approved or rejected, the workflow will progress. Different users that are part of the workflow steps can have various responsibilities as defined in workflow. Some will only add data, others approve, and some will interact with SAP to create/change/query and finally complete the workflow.
