Steps to view the Assigned Task
Perform the following steps in order to view the assigned task.
1. Start Microsoft Excel.
2. Switch to Process Runner tab.
3. Click on Inbox (Workflow) to view the task details.
4. Select the assigned workflow task and click on ‘Open’ from the Inbox (Workflow).
• Double-click on Workflow task to open it.
5. Work flow task will be displayed in the excel template as shown in the image below
Steps to take Action on Assigned Task
The assigned task can be Approved/Rejected through following two methods:
Via Microsoft Excel Add-in
• Start Microsoft Excel.
• Switch to Process Runner tab.
• Click on Inbox (Workflow) to take action (Approve/Reject) on the task that is assigned.
• Select the assigned workflow task and click on ‘Open’ from the Inbox (Workflow).
• The workflow task will be displayed in the Excel Template, click on Workflow Action option in Process Runner tab and select Approve/Reject from drop down menu.
• User can also select Approve/Reject the workflow from the “Workflow Action Pane”.
• To Approve/Reject from Email, click on ‘Reply’ to the mail.
• Type ‘Approve’ or ‘Reject’ in email body.
• Click on Send as shown in the figure below.
